Session C - "The Fertile Soul" (pre-requisite attendance at either "The Fertile Body" or "The Fertile Mind" required).

In Session C we begin to experience the inherent joy involved in this otherwise heart-wrenching process. This is the time when our entire beings become receptive to receiving the spark of life within. 

Throughout the process of learning to nurture the Mother Within, we become open to the miracle that life is. This is the final stage of transformation where the body says “Yes” - to allowing life through our reproductive meridians.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the Heart (which houses the Spirit) bestows its life giving power to the womb. The process of “in-fertility” itself can close off this process, so that regardless of our age, laboratory analysis or medical reproductive diagnosis, our very being has become closed off to the process of allowing life to express itself through us.

Session C takes you beyond eggs, seeds, and the hormonal reflection of imbalances into deeper issues that affect fertility, reproductive functioning, health, and happiness. You will be taught how to nourish the energies of the heart and spirit, direct them to the uterus, and open up to implantation. We study and learn the energetics of emotion and how negative emotions can affect our health, wellbeing and fertility. Our lectures and therapeutic sessions reflect the depth of session C work.   As is the case with every retreat, an evaluation, herbal prescription and home-based treatment plan is provided for each attendee along with acupuncture treatment. (Dr. Lewis will review your file and provide information to her staff acupuncturist who will go over the diagnosis and perform the acupuncture treatment). Dr. Lewis consults individually with each attendee at our Session C retreats.

We always address the patterns of imbalance which prevent implantation, yet session C opens up to a new level of healing the spirit and soul. Dr. Christiane Northrup describes the necessity of fallow time to allow the cultivation of new life, new growth, new birth. We deepen the exercises of qi gong, yoga, body wisdom and Nia. You will enhance your creative, life giving powers with therapeutic art projects to express your deepest, fertile selves. Dr. Lewis intensifies her connection with a more open you, and the level of healing you are ready to receive goes to the core of your very being.

As your heart energies open up, you will become more comfortable with the life giving energies within. You will learn to become less desperate in the search, a process which paradoxically allows pregnancy to occur. You will learn to view and relate with your body as a temple, expressing its many levels of procreative powers. You will learn to nurture the mother within, meditate and draw on levels of creativity that connect you to the souls of your unborn children. This is where your true fertility is cultivated.

In the process of becoming comfortable with your body, soul, and spirit, the most drastic levels of healing occur. Miraculous drops in FSH levels, the disappearance of endometriosis, the return of hormonal balance, the reduction of immunologic barriers to conception take place at this level.

You will connect with deeper creative expression and healing within, and emerge truly fertile at every level. You have committed yourself to a process of healing that has allowed you to go from the physical to the soul levels, and finally becoming receptive to the very spirit of life giving power itself. After your third session, the very spirit of divine healing will have made you a new, fertile, receptive, procreative woman. Your body, mind, soul, and spirit says, "Yes!"
