The Fertile Soul is now offering select herbal formulations for those who are not yet patients (for custom prescriptions for existing patients, please scroll down to "Option I and Option II below). These herbal formulas have been created specially by The Fertile Soul to encourage the resolution of the most common impediments to achieving a healthy, happy pregnancy. Each bottle is $40; some formulas are taken only before or after ovulation as noted. Note - Two bottles should take you through one cycle. Taken at the dosage of 8 capsules per day, each bottle should last 12.5 days. Take one formula between menstruation and ovulation until it is finished, and then switch to the second formula until it runs out. Take a break during menstruation. The blood stasis formula may be taken during menstruation to help with blood flow. (The blood stasis formula should not be taken concurrently with heparin or any blood thinner.) These formulas do not intend to treat any western gynecological, reproductive, or obstetrical pathologic diagnosis. These formulations address the pattern diagnosis of traditional Chinese medicine, and are used to support a natural approach to a healthy pregnancy.
Although these herbal blends are not specific to your individual imbalances that would be determined via our Fertile Soul Retreats or Fertility Advisor's program, we have found that they address many major disease categories. If you have taken these herbal formulas for 90 days and have not achieved noticeable improvement, we suggest you sign up for an individual traditional Chinese medical diagnosis and customized herbal prescription. For Ovarian Health – this formula helps support follicular growth, encourages ovarian health, enhances the follicle’s ability to produce estrogen, and build the uterine lining. Can also help lower pathologically elevated FSH values. [May be taken throughout the menstrual cycle, or during the follicular phase with or without the PCOS formula, if appropriate. Not to be taken during menses.
PCOS formula - taken during the follicular phase, this formula helps encourage ovulation in women whose ovaries have been resistant to ovulation. [To be taken between menstruation and ovulation only. May be taken alone or combined with the ovarian health formula which would be taken after ovulation. The PCOS formula should not be taken after ovulation.]
For endometriosis, fibroids, the TCM diagnostic category of blood stasis, and implantation issues – may be taken during period as well - may increase blood flow if taken during menses. [May be taken in conjunction with any other applicable formula, in half dosage. May be used throughout the menstrual cycle.]
For Luteal phase support – helps the body encourage progesterone production by strengthening corpus luteal function. This formula encourages your body to develop the vascularization, glandular development, and proteins necessary for implantation. [Use is encouraged after ovulation, after you have taken the ovarian health or PCOS formula, if appropriate. Should not be taken prior to ovulation or during menses.]
Immunologic Formula - to help strengthen the body’s immune system, and reduce immunologic responses against implantation or growing embryos. [May be taken in conjunction with the luteal phase support formula during the luteal phase if you have both disease diagnoses; may be taken along with the ovarian health formula during the follicular phase, or may be taken along with the endometriosis formula, if appropriate. May also be taken alone throughout the month.]
Stress/PMS Formula – taken at the onset of premenstrual symptoms (even if they occur at other times of the month), our stress/PMS formula helps rid the body of excess estrogen production seen in estrogen dominant scenarios, helps encourage the liver’s ability to metabolize excess hormones (including prolactin), and reduce the body’s reaction to stress. [May be taken alone or in conjnction with any other indicated formula.]
Pregnancy Support and Recurrent Miscarriage Prevention – based upon a famous Ancient Chinese herbal formula, our miscarriage prevention formula is safe to take throughout pregnancy and will help strengthen the energies that support a healthy pregnancy. [May be taken during the luteal phase, with any other applicable formula, but its use is intended during pregnancy by itself.]
Male Sperm Enhancer – Increases testosterone levels, libido, sperm count, morphology, and motility.
