At the Fertile Soul, we support you every step of the way on your fertility journey, from trying to conceive, navigating assisted reproductive methods, pregnancy, and pregnancy loss. We take a wholistic approach, specializing in Chinese medicine, to prepare you for a healthy pregnancy. Our goal is to support your body, mind, and spirit through any and every part of your fertility process.

 The Fertile Soul was founded by Dr. Randine Lewis, author of The Infertility Cure. She, along with her daughter, Theresa Johnson, hosted countless fertility enhancing retreats. They soon began to realize that While the field of reproductive medicine was exponentially growing, many women did not feel supported through this physically and emotionally challenging field. Women were craving physical and emotional support. Many women did not have access to a more wholistic approach to conception and pregnancy. Randine began to focus on teaching other natural health practitioners her approach to fertility and Theresa began to focus on supporting women facing fertility challenges remotely.

At the Fertile Soul, we know that not everybody has access to holistic fertility treatments. Our goal is to empower women to take charge of their own fertility and to help you along the way.

About Our Owner – Theresa Johnson

Theresa Johnson is a licensed acupuncturist who has been treating fertility with Chinese medicine and other natural modalities for 15 years. Through her experience, she believes that women have more control over their fertility than the medical community leads women to believe. She loves working with women to support them emotionally and physically whether they are trying to conceive naturally or with assisted reproductive techniques.

 After receiving her BS in Biology and graduating with her masters from Chinese medical school, Theresa learned the craft of coaching and treating infertility with acupuncture, Chinese herbs and other natural methods from her mother, Dr. Randine Lewis, author of The Infertility Cure. Randine and Theresa hosted countless fertility enhancing retreats together and eventually Theresa opened her own practice.

Theresa currently lives in Northern Illinois with her husband, two children and three dogs.
